      白定勇简介:博士,教授,博士生导师。主要从事泛函微分方程及种群生态模型的理论与应用研究,在《J. Differential Eqn.》、《Nonl. Anal.RWA》、《Nonl. Anal.TMA》、《J.Biol.Dyn.》、《J.Math.Anal.Appl.》、《Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst.S》、《Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst.B》和《Appl. Math. Lett.》等学术期刊发表30余篇科研论文。先后主持和参与了多项国家级和省部级科研项目。目前主持国家自然科学基金面上项目和广东省自然科学基金面上项目各一项。

报告摘要: 

      In this talk, we consider a predator-prey model with strong Allee effect in prey and intraspecific competition in predator. The global dynamics of the model is presented, including equilibrium stability, Hopf bifurcation and its directions, existence of a heteroclinic orbit loop, a homoclinic orbit loop and limit cycles. In comparison with system without the Allee effect in prey and system without the intraspecific competition in predator, the Allee effect in prey and the over-exploitation of the prey by the predator may drive the extinction of two species, but the intraspecific competition in the predator can generate “hydra effect” that regulates the population size of both predator and prey by suppressing the over-exploitation of prey and improving the probability of survivals of two species.
